The Institute of Integrative Systems Biology (I2SysBio, CSIC–University of Valencia) has held the conference ‘Integrative Synthetic & Systems Biology for a Resilient Future’ from 9 to 11 September, organised as part of the activities marking the institute’s tenth anniversary.

Over the course of three days, the event brought together more than 150 researchers, students and companies – both national and international – to discuss the latest advances in synthetic biology and systems biology, through keynote lectures, scientific sessions and four round‑table discussions.

The conference was organised with the support of Promega, The Company of Biologists, Laboratorios Tecnológicos de Levante, Sociedad Española de Biofísica, Clúster Bioval through the Valencia Biofoundry initiative, and the HUB‑CSIC Antimicrobials network. The conference logo was designed by the illustrator Adrià Voltà.
