On Saturday 10 May, the Institute of Integrative Systems Biology (I2SysBio - CSIC-UV) collaborated with up to seven activities in this 17th edition of Expociència

 

Last Saturday was held the 17th edition of Expociència, the annual open day of the University of Valencia Science Park (PCUV). Under the slogan ‘Expociència without limits’, activities specially adapted for people with functional diversity were incorporated for the first time, in a step towards a more inclusive and accessible science.

Throughout the morning, this edition was visited by more than 4200 people who were able to enjoy nearly 100 activities organised by researchers from the different institutes and professionals from PCUV companies. All of them are aimed at all audiences and their theme is always related to science and technology.

Among them, I2SysBio participated with the following activities:

The final battle: antigen vs antibody.

Virus hunters.

Plants vs viruses: defending the earth.

 What protein is hidden in your name?

DNA in your hands.

Acid scale: exploring pH in your kitchen.

Strawberry DNA extraction.
