I2SysBio participates in Pint of Science 2025

 

The international science outreach festival Pint of Science will be held from 19 to 21 May in bars, pubs and venues in several cities. The Institute of Integrative Systems Biology (I2SysBio-CSIC-UV) is participating with three talks in this edition.

 

The three talks given by I2SysBio researchers are included in the Pint of Science València, on 20 and 21 May at 19:00 in the following location:

 

"Yeast, human beings’ best friend" Cecilia Picazo Campos, from the Industrial Yeast Biotechnology group i2sysbio - group: on 20 May at 19:00 in the Max Max pub, C/ del Vinalopó, 11.

 

"Phages. Therapeutic viruses against superbacteria" Pilar Domingo-Calap, leader of the Environmental and Biomedical Virology group i2sysbio - group, on 21 May at 19:00 in the George Best Rock Club pub, Calle Alzira, 12.

 

"Microbial Dark Matter", Maria Dzunkova, leader of the Microbial Single Cell Genomics group i2sysbio - group, on 21 May at 19:00 in the Max Max pub, C/ del Vinalopó, 11.

 

What is Pint of Science

The aim of Pint of Science is to bring science closer to society, break down barriers, generate curiosity and encourage critical thinking. The centres participating in this project not only stand out for their scientific impact at an international level, but also for their commitment to popularisation. Admission to the talks is free, but seating is limited.
