The I2SysBio receives a visit from the FORTHEM universities

On April 26, representatives of the University visited the University's Science Park. universities that make up the FORTHEM Alliance, a network that seeks to promote the collaboration and internationalization of university centers from various regions of Europe.

The members of FORTHEM visited several companies in the Science Park of the University of Valencia (PCUV), including the spin-off Darwin Bioprospecting Excellence SL, as well as the Institute of Integrative Systems Biology I2SysBio where they learned first-hand about the lines of research being developed, during a tour of the facilities.

The FORTHEM Alliance brings together a new generation of creative minds capable of cooperating across languages, borders and disciplines to address the societal challenges and skills shortages facing Europe. FORTHEM is a network of nine public multidisciplinary research universities with strong regional anchoring in Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Norway, Poland, Romania and Spain. Specifically, it is made up of the following universities Université Dijon Bourgogne, University of Jyväskylä, Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz, Opole University of Technology, Università degli studi di Palermo, Rïgas Tehniska Universitate, University of Agdera, Lucian Blaga University of Sibiu and the Universitat de València.
