The Board of the Institute of Integrative Systems Biology (I2SysBio, Universitat de València-CSIC) on March 12, 2024 has agreed to open the deadline for the presentation of candidatures to the Directorate of the Institute until April 5, 2024.

Candidates must be doctoral research personnel of recognized prestige who have the appropriate suitability and professional qualification to perform the functions inherent to the position, and may be personnel belonging to the CSIC or the Universitat de València attached to the institute through the joint center agreement.

To present the candidatures, in accordance with the instructions received from Management of Governing Bodies of Mixed Institutes, of the Deputy Vice-Presidency of Institutional Relations of the CSIC State Agency, the application must be accompanied by the following documents:

1. Direction project in which the objectives to be met during the years of the mandate.
2. Complete curriculum vitae.

The applications must be sent along with the required documentation by email to the secretariat of the Board (gerencia.i2sysbio@csic.es), which will acknowledge receipt of the same.

Phases of the Procedure

• From March 14 to April 5. Presentation of candidacies.
• Extraordinary institute meeting on April 9, for the certification of the candidacies presented. Cloister call.
• Cloister on April 16. Debate of the projects presented and collection of contributions from the members of the faculty. Issuance of the faculty report.
• Extraordinary institute meeting on April 18, where a report will be prepared on the candidates and a proposal from them that will be submitted to the Governing Commission. The Governing Commission will choose a candidate and propose it to the co-owner institutions so that they can proceed with the formal appointment of the person in charge of the Directorate.
• Resolution of the Presidency of the CSIC and the Rectorate of the University of Valencia.
