I2SysBio co-organizes the 'Biophyzza Connection' at the University of Valencia

The Spanish Biophysical Society (SBE) promotes a day to promote biophysics on the Burjassot-Paterna Campus of the University of Valencia. It will be on March 21 within the Biophysics Week organized annually by the Biophysical Society of the United States with activities around the world.
Biophysics is the field that applies the theories and methods of physics to understand how biological systems work. To promote this scientific discipline among the students of the University of Valencia, a session will be held on Thursday, March 21 in the Darwin Room starting at 4:30 p.m. that will include the conference "Sex, Rock & Roll and Neutrons: Biophysics.JPG" given by Professor Jesús Pérez-Gil (Complutense University of Madrid), former president of the SBE and the EBSA (European Biophysical Societies Association). Pérez-Gil will share his experiences and talk about the present and future of biophysics. Next, there will be a round table in which, in addition to the speaker, the organizers of the day will participate: Javier Buceta (I2SysBio), M. Jesús García-Murria (Biotecmed) and Ismael Mingarro (Fac. Biológica). The day will end by sharing pizza in the bar of the Faculty of Pharmacy to encourage communication between all participants.
The session is part of the program coordinated by the SBE 'The Biophyzza Connection' which is also deployed in different Spanish universities.
To participate you must complete a registration (free).
