The institute Cavanilles of Biodiversity and Evolutionary Biology has organized a seminar, 'Co-evolution between biodiversity and humanity', this Tuesday, April 2 in the Seminar Room SS6 of the Institutes building of the Science Park. The event, at 4:30 p.m., will be presented by Professor Gilles Boeuf, from the Université Pierre-et-Marie-Curie (Sorbonne University, France) and currently president of the French Agency for Diversity.

The seminar will propose that although humans have barely impacted biodiversity for three or four million years out of the 4,000 million years in which there has been life on planet Earth, on the contrary in the last 400 has had a very notable role. The conference will discuss, from the perspective of the specialist, what can be done to restore the balance between species, and in terms of environmental impact, in the midst of the human era.
